Willy was conflicted and had sat with it for a few days now. Having his heart back had been phenomenal, but the longer he had it, the more used to it he got, he found there were some feelings he didn't know how to navigate. In truth, he'd never felt like this even before he'd given it away to Charlotte.

Guilt.

What was a fae supposed to do with guilt?

Ultimately, he decided he needed a hint of what he should do. In the past Fin had been quite direct and clear and he appreciated that.

I need you. Tell me where to meet you

He sent the text off and then stewed about it. He wasn't going to work this out on his own.

Working. Will swing by after.

The fae wasn't sure what to make of the message, but true to his word he finished up, took a quick shower in his trailer, then made his way over to Will's.

"You still in?" he asked, tapping on the door.

[willysilver]

Willy smiled at him as he let him in. In his writing area there were sheets and sheets of lyrics and some tabs doodled quickly. His hair was in a bit of disarray since he'd been pushing it back from his face.

"Welcome, my friend. Come in, come..."

Fin wandered in, looking around and taking in the mild chaos.

"You alright? You said you needed something."

[willysilver]

"I need your wisdom," he said. "Something happened on Samhain and...I'm not certain the best course. Would you like some tea?"

[prince_of_nymphs]

"Sure," Fin said. "What happened?" he asked, moving to sit.

[willysilver]

Willy waved a hand and cups and kettle began moving around. He led Fin to the sofa.

"Well...I suppose the beginning is that Remus is in love with me, and I am not in love with him. This wasn't a problem...But it is now. I am torn. I can't throw him out to destitution again, but I won't toy with his heart, either. I thought you, of all people, would have an idea."

"Oh," Fin said softly. "Um- Well... The first thing I'd say is to be up front with him. Tell him how you feel, and how you hope things can be. Tell him you enjoy him, that you would like him to stay, but that your heart isn't available to him. I can't promise it'll end how you'd like, but at least you can set boundaries up front..."

[willysilver]

"I feel bad. Whatever I do will hurt him," he said. "But I can't lie to him."

[prince_of_nymphs]

"No, lying would very much be worse," Fin assured him. "When did you figure all this out then?"

[willysilver]

Willy hesitated, then we his lips.

"He took something to try to suppress the wolf, but it only brought out the worst of it and gave it a voice. It wasn't good, and he was very sick for days after. Caring for him, I realized I do care about him, but it's not the sort of love he craves."

[prince_of_nymphs]

Fin nodded, then sighed and pushed his hair back. "I wish I had advice for you, Will. There's no easy solutions for matters of the heart though."

[willysilver]

"I think what might be the most difficult is he doesn't want to go. He seems to think he can live happily, though unrequited. I don't think that's possible. Do you?" he asked.

[prince_of_nymphs]

"I... I mean, I personally don't think him staying sounds healthy if he's attached to you in ways that you aren't, but perhaps he's completely comfortable accepting things as they stand," Fin shrugged. "Only he knows that. However, it's also important that you're comfortable in your own home. So, are you okay with him staying?

[willysilver]

"I was. But now I feel bad," he said. He'd seen nothing wrong with taking advantage of the werewolf's kindness and adoration, but after the things Remus had said...

"It's not fair to either of us, I think."

[prince_of_nymphs]

"Then you need to set boundaries," Fin replied. "Who knows, after some time apart you both might find a new way to enjoy one another."

[willysilver]

Willy let out a pathetic groan and let his heard roll around once.

"How annoying," he grumbled.

[prince_of_nymphs]

"It's really not all that much of a bother, Will, you're just not used to giving a fuck," Fin replied.

[willysilver]

"You make a fair point," he said. It was true and he recognized it.

"..I'll learn. It's just been so long. "

[prince_of_nymphs]

"Can I ask you something personal, WIll?" Fin asked.

[willysilver]

"If you like," he nodded.

[prince_of_nymphs]

"Is there anyone in your life you currently love?" Fin asked.

[willysilver]

"No," he answered. "But I'm finding I care about what people feel and think more than I did before. I care for Remus. And Klaus. And you."

[prince_of_nymphs]

"That's good, I think. Enriching, yeah?" Fin smiled.

[willysilver]

"Enlightening, at least," he nodded. "It's still...fresh, And I don't think I was ever that considerate to begin with," Willy confessed.

[prince_of_nymphs]

"Doesn't mean you can't change," Fin said softly.
