Willy was conflicted and had sat with it for a few days now. Having his heart back had been phenomenal, but the longer he had it, the more used to it he got, he found there were some feelings he didn't know how to navigate. In truth, he'd never felt like this even before he'd given it away to Charlotte.
Guilt.
What was a fae supposed to do with guilt?
Ultimately, he decided he needed a hint of what he should do. In the past Fin had been quite direct and clear and he appreciated that.
I need you. Tell me where to meet you
He sent the text off and then stewed about it. He wasn't going to work this out on his own.

A frighteningly feline purr began to rumble in his chest.

No.
He knew this weight. He knew this scent. This wasn't their bed.
And then sleep dropped off like a blossom, and the dawning realization with it, and he was actually awake. He kept the smile for Fin and slowly eased himself away, so not to wake him.

"What time is it?" he asked with a yawn.

"I'm sure your friends are expecting you. Truly, I didn't mean to keep you so late."
