Fawn
It was a beautiful day. The sun was bright, the birds harassed people for their crumbs, and children played on the playground. Willy had set up near the fountain, guitar case laying open. And he had his guitar.
He didn't need the money but he'd found if he didn't put his case down people looked at hi a bit odd. He cared not for the money, though it was nice to have.
He spied Fawn and smiled as he finished off his tune with a flourish. A few people gave him some coins and he nodded his gratitude.
"Fawn," he called as he took a seat on the edge of the fountain. He beckoned him closer while he took his bottle of water and uncapped it.

"I rarely play," Fawn confessed. "Playing leaves you with your guard down."
no subject
"That is a tragedy, little one. We have to play. Especially you, young as you are," he smiled indulgently and gave him another little tickle of magic.
no subject
Fawn let his magic dance with Willy's just a bit more.
"It can be dangerous though," the young fae said.
no subject
"You need playmates you can trust, then," he replied simply.
no subject
"Like you?" Fawn asked.
no subject
Willy's smile was slow and narrow and just a little smug.
"Like me. Yes," he purred.
no subject
"Then I will play with you," Fawn decided. "You will not betray me, no?"
no subject
Willy was quiet a moment, then nodded.
"I swear to you, my word and bond, I will not betray you, Fawn, prince of the trooping fae."
no subject
Fawn purred and nodded.
"I am grateful for this."
no subject
Willy held him close and smiled to himself.
It was selfish, undoubtedly, but Willy could see no other way to coax Fawn away from the warlock. And the prince could so easily love him. For a time.
"Any time you like," he offered generously.
no subject
Oblivious to Willy's motives, Fawn just purred louder, settling in as though he might fall asleep half in the fae's lap.
It didn't occur to him that John might be home soon.
no subject
Willy could care less if they were interrupted. He was quite content to gather Fawn close and hold him as he let his magic dance lightly over his skin.
"You're so slender, little bird," he chuckled softly. "A living dandelion wish..."
no subject
"I don't want to be a dandelion, I want to be a tree," Fawn said with a little yawn.
no subject
"An aspen, then. Dancing with the breeze," Willy smiled, slouching a bit so he could kiss Fawn's hair and breathe him in.
The door opened and John groaned to announce his arrival without really looking around.
no subject
Fawn was sure he was doing nothing wrong, and barely moved to sit up.
"John!" he said cheerfully. "You are back!"
no subject
Willy looked at John with a smug smile and purposely held on a little tighter.
"Welcome home, John Constantine," he said.
"What in the hell are you doing here?" John asked...as if it wasn't obvious.
no subject
"I wanted to show fae Willy what I made," Fawn beamed. "Now we are cuddling."
no subject
"I see that," John said, hanging his coat and then glowering at Willy.
"Fawn has chosen me to be his playmate," Willy said, insinuating much more than there really was between them.
no subject
"Yes, Willy is safe, our magic can play," Fawn beamed, letting his magic manifest as a flower blooming in his palm.
no subject
"Am I, erm, interrupting?" John asked awkwardly.
"Yes," Willy replied in the most challenging possible way.
no subject
"No," Fawn said at the same time. "I asked Willy to stay while we speak. He is wise, and I don't always explain things well."
no subject
"While we...speak," he repeated. "All...right. What are we talking about?"
Willy smirked at him.
"Your love is going to kill him. Free him," Willy said.
John hadn't been expecting that. He was utterly gobsmacked.
no subject
"Fae Willy says I will wilt, and if I wilt, I can not be with you. ...So what if I had Willy to share my love with, and you had someone too?" Fawn suggested nervously.
no subject
John had almost been on board with the idea of Fawn having other lovers. But Willy? Willy?
"You and him," he said, letting that idea crush him mercilessly. "Yeah. I mean, erm...him?"
no subject
"He is kin," Fawn said softly, worried now that John might be upset with him. "Kin is important."
