Kersen

It was soon to be the New Year and with Fin in such a state Willy had decided to get him a gift. He wanted to buy him pyjamas, something soft with large buttons that would be easy for the man to do up himself.

He spied Kersen doing a bit of shopping as well and carried his parcel over to the man. He saw him often enough, playing at Jazzmin, but rarely saw him outside of there. He had a bright smile for the vampire.

"I thought you made your clothes," he said rather than hello.

Kersen looked surprised to see Willy, but his face immediately softened into a slightly sheepish smile. "Most of them," he admitted. "I actually came to look at shoes, though I'm not sure why I bother."

"Why do you say that? Do they not have your size?" he asked, obviously clueless about what it must be like for Kersen to shop.

[kersen]

"Not usually, no," Kersen said. "Women's shoes are difficult to find in men's sizes... same with clothes, which is why I make a lot myself." Fortunately Kersen was slender - he had the body type of a runway model, honestly, but being entirely flatchested and very tall meant that most off the rack clothes looked odd on him.

"That is quite the predicament," Willy said. "It would be easier if you were a more conventional size, no?"

[kersen]

Kersen looked at a rack of dresses wistfully. "Yes, if ever there is a time I might wish to actually be a woman, it's when I'm shopping."

Might wish was not actually wishing.

"If you were to wish for it, what would you do?"

[kersen]

Kersen was only partly paying attention to Willy, because he'd pulled a dress off the rack - one that would never fit him properly, being perfectly built for someone with hips and breasts, and much shorter than him. He sighed. "Yes, right this second I wish I could wake up a woman tomorrow morning just so I can wear this dress."

Then another sigh and he shoved it back onto the rack and smiled at Willy. "I suppose I'll just have to make something."

Willy didn't bother to ask what Kersen would give in return for such a favor. A future debt was always a lovely thing. Willy simply smiled and set the wish to be fulfilled. When Kersen awoke next he would find himself a woman. It would certainly make shopping easier.

"You would look lovely in that dress," he said simply.
