It was a lovely day, the sun bright and the air crisp, but not too cold. Willy wore nothing more than his denim jacket, his long hair pulled back in a ponytail to keep it out of his face as he worked outside Alice's cafe. There were chairs and tables outside, but there was a storm forecast so Willy stacked the chairs to protect them from the oncoming snow.

He could smell the nymph well before he got close, so Willy watched him approach and smiled when he was close enough to see. The Sidhe stood and moved closer to Alwyn's path.

"Well met, my friend," he said warmly.

"Wicked," Alwyn tutted, shaking his head but looking amused.

Willy chuckled softly and finally put his guitar aside. He rose gracefully and went to the tiny fridge he had a lam sitting on and opened it up.

"Would you like a lemonade?" he asked, offering a bottle.

"Please," Alwyn nodded, sitting back up and leaning against the wall.

He popped the caps and brought one to Alway, flopping down on his side and stretching out.

"What do you love?" he asked. "What fills you with joy?"

"Not to lean into a stereotype, but nothing brings me more joy than sparking true joy in others," Alwyn admitted, sipping his drink.

[willysilver]

"Does it renew your spirit?" Willy asked curiously.

[sweet_alwyn]

"I'm not sure I'd say that, but it does bring me serenity of a sort," Alwyn explained.

[willysilver]

"I like touching people with my music. There is nothing better than bringing someone to their feet. Or to tears," he confessed with soft pride.

[sweet_alwyn]

"You take pride in your passion. I think that's nice," Alwyn smiled.

[willysilver]

Willy laughed softly.

"If only Mother agreed with you," he said. "I am the youngest, you see. A blight on our family name. A musician. In this world."

The pride in that wasn't soft at all.

[sweet_alwyn]

"Mmm, well- You are a royal, aren't you? I am lucky, my bloodline carries the crown but has nothing much to rule. We wander as we like," Alwyn said.

[willysilver]

"I will never rule, nor do I want to. And I have enough brothers to make her proud. I prefer my freedom," he nodded in agreement.

He sipped his lemonade and looked at Alwyn curiously.

"Who could you even rule? Your kind are flung far and wide. I only ever meet nymphs one at a time, and rarely at that. Two of you, and men, is remarkable."

"I do not know, we're also all terribly unruly," he added impishly.

[willysilver]

"You're no pixie. Take comfort in that," he laughed.

[sweet_alwyn]

"My brother used to often spend time among the pixies," Alwyn noted, looking thoughtful. "They liked him, I think."

[willysilver]

"I believe Winter is fond of him," he nodded. "Have you met him yet?"

[sweet_alwyn]

"Winter? Oh, yes, the large pixie. I know him, yes, "Alwyn nodded.

[willysilver]

"My little brother," he smiled fondly. "Not...actually, of course," he added.

[sweet_alwyn]

"You know him very well?" Alwyn asked.

[willysilver]

"I know some," he nodded. He knew there was so much more about Winter that he didn't know. But he knew enough to hold him dear.

[sweet_alwyn]

Alwyn nodded, then stretched out again.

"Do you wish to know me, fae Willy?"

[willysilver]

"I do," he nodded. "If I didn't, I wouldn't have invited you home."

He smiled warmly and then sipped his bottle.

"I enjoy you."

[sweet_alwyn]

"Me, or nymphs?" Alwyn challenged, looking amused.

[willysilver]

"You, my friend," he chuckled warmly.

"Not all kinfolk are worth knowing. Some are...tedious."

[sweet_alwyn]

"Then I'm flattered," Alwyn smiled.
