It had taken some time to work out the magic for something so grand and so permanant. He'd waited until Fin had finished painting him and then one day when the younger man had gone to work Willy remained in the flat and had set about making the change.

His new body was roughly the same size. Same height. Same shoe size. But his skin was much darker- not as dark as the Phouka, but Willy had decided if he was to change it would be a complete change. His hair grew wild and curly, the white shock disappearing as his mane became a rich, dark colour. His eyes remained green for a bit and then he decided that to should go and as he looked in the mirror his eyes became a rich, dark colour of their own. He wore his own clothes-the black jeans and heavy boots and today a black t-shirt from a Led Zeppelin concert he'd gone to long ago.

It was a massive amount of magic and it left him weary. He went to the sofa and laid down, the television on but set to a music channel. Willy closed his eyes for just a short nap. But he didn't wake up until he heard the lock click and the door begin to open.

"You hardly look up to it," Fin laughed softly, shaking his head. "I'll tuck you in though, if you like."

Smiling, he took the fae's hand and squeezed. "Come on, let's both get our pyjamas on."

Willy held his hand and stepped in close. Still towering over Fin at more than two meters, his massive hair made him even taller. He held Fin and looked down at him.

"I will only go to bed if you join me and tell me of your day," he said. "And how you came by these fine new clothes. Come..."

Fin grinned brightly, always eager to be taken to bed by Will, and gladly following along.

"Had a photoshoot today, remember? The clothes are just gifts."

[willysilver]

"Oh, yes. Yes, I remember now," he said, though there was a vacancy in his eyes. Did he remember that? He was trying to. Surely he hadn't forgotten- it had only been this morning that he saw Fin. Maybe he was more tired than he thought.

"Was it good? The shoot, and all the clothes? No trouble?" he asked.

"It was lovely. I think you'll enjoy the photos when they come out," Fin assured him, stroking that wild hair as he began to undress the fae. He couldn't help but admire the new body Will wore, but his heart did ache slightly as it longed for the memory what was more familiar.

The clothes came off and when he was just in his pants he stopped Fin so he could touch him. Strangely enough his hands were the same. Same callouses, same nails, same fingers and thumbs. And his touch was confident and familiar.

"Of course I will," he said. "I always enjoy seeing you. In magazines, on the telly, I love to see what you create come to life, even in still pictures," he said, touching Fin's hair, too. It had grown while Willy wasn't watching, bit by bit until it was now long enough to run his fingers through. And he rather enjoyed Fin's beard, soft as it was. "Oh, pet, I do love you."

Those fingers were unforgettable, long and skilled, rough and soft all at once... Willy touched him, and Fin's body melted beneath them, pliant, willing, and eager in an instant.

Pushing up onto his toes, he kissed Willy soundly. His Willy, his evermore, changed and yet the same in all the ways that mattered to his heart.

"I love you too, Will."

Willy purred softly and kissed Fin and though his lips were new his kiss was familiar.

"So you like this new form?" he pressed. "I believe it will take less to change you. Age you."

[prince_of_nymphs]

"You're lovely no matter how you look, Will. ...Let's not worry about ageing me just yet though, hmm? I've only just started staying young," Fin chuckled.

[willysilver]

"Now that I know it can be done, whenever you would like you only need ask," he said, smiling as he leaned in to kiss Fin again. He'd barely kissed him and had to pull away to yawn.

"I do apologize. I am weary to the bone," he said. "It has been quite some time since I used magic in that way. The concentration it takes, the will...It is rather difficult. This is why I like little glamours. Small magic."

"Then let's put you to bed, hmm? I'll get you sorted then make you some tea," Fin decided with a soft smile.

[willysilver]

"Mmm, yes. Tea. I would like that blueberry tea we bought at the market," he said, perfectly fine with Fin waiting on him like this. Even with all his many years in the mortal world he had never outgrown the princely trait of enjoying being waited on and tended to.

He let Fin dress him in black silk pyjamas and then he climbed into bed, letting Fin finish dressing himself.

"And more of those pastries. We can have tea and treats in bed."

Fin moved to cover will's feet with the blanket, then bent low to steal a kiss.

"Of course, anything you like," he soothed, stealing another kiss, then slipping off to make some tea. He liked this- Not Willy being weak, but the fact that he could help. That he could do things all by himself.

When he returned he had a tray full of treats, and he put it down on the bed before moving to sit himself.

"There we are," he smiled.

"And now you must get into your pyjamas," Willy said. "And I think you should undress slowly. So I can watch," he added with a seductive smile.

[prince_of_nymphs]

"I think you might be milking this a bit, Silver," Fin replied, tutting a bit, but still getting up to oblige the fae prince.

[willysilver]

"I will take all I can get of seeing you," he confessed. "And if you hurry then you can be in my arms...which is where I want you."

[prince_of_nymphs]

Fin laughed, then finished changing into his pyjamas before slinking back over to Willy and settling in close.

"I love you," he sighed. "I'm so lucky to have you in my life, Will. It wouldn't be what it is without you."

[willysilver]

"And you..."

He breathed in deeply, smelling only shampoo and detergent, the perfume of Fin himself gone forever.

"...Have brought joy to my life unlike any I have ever felt. I look forward to seeing you every time we are apart. I think, 'I should tell Fin this' or 'I should show Fin that'. You have profoundly changed me, my dear, and I love you for it."

[prince_of_nymphs]

Fin wrapped an arm around him, tea and sweets ignored in favour of holding the fae.

"Oh, Will- You've shaped my whole world," Fin said softly. "I always looked for beauty in things, but you pulled back the veil and made it so much easier to see that beauty. You opened my mind and my soul to new possibilities, new truths. My life before you was little more than a shell of what it means to really live. ...And honestly, I think it's only now, in death, that I'm alive at all. Born again, even. I owe that to you as well, Willy. Without you, your world, I wouldn't be this."

[willysilver]

"I have noticed this. Since Halloween you are a man unlike before. It is more than having your eyes back. You are at peace. You see now. Your eyes are keen. And you find beauty. You create beauty. You are beauty," Willy replied.

[prince_of_nymphs]

"I feel alive, Will. Alive like I didn't before I- Before I died, I suppose. Mad as that sounds," Fin confessed. "And work? Work's never been better. They want me to fill in for one of the actors doing A Christmas Carol in the west end. Not a massive part, but Marley, on stage... How brilliant is that? They asked me, Will. I'm going to be on stage with some amazing people."

[willysilver]

"I love to see you so happy," Willy said, his eyes blinking slowly as he fought the urge to sleep. "I will be there. At your play. I liked the man who wrote it. I remember him. Master of ghost stories. I remember one...about a town that hung a witch and she vowed her children would have revenge. And one Christmas day when the son of the man who had hung her came to the manor he ordered the hanging tree chopped down, but out came spiders. Hundreds of venomous spiders. And there was something about divination using the Bible...Just a story he told in the pub. I don't think he ever wrote it down."

He was clearly babbling to keep himself awake and it was a battle he was losing as he held Fin close.

Fin was giggling, his face buried slightly in Will's hair as he leaned in to whisper in his ear.

"Go to sleep, Willy. You're so tired, go to sleep," he smiled. "I'll be here when you wake, I promise, and you can tell me all the stories you like."

Willy did go to sleep, but fast. He closed his eyes and within five breaths he was out cold. He held Fin possessively and snuggled close but as time passes his hold loosened and he set Fin free.

Fin only moved to put the tray on the floor, then settled in close with his arms around the fae. It was early though, and eventually he slipped off, picking up his well worn leather journal and settling into a plush chair in the corner with his feet tucked beneath him as he wrote.

The sound of an aluminium can as it skids across the pavement,
That sound is all I hear.
Even your voice fades, as the world around me mutes and offers me a serene moment.
Your lips, slightly parted-
The shapes they make as you speak.
Your eyes, wide open-
The secrets of time within them.
Dark locks around your face, straight, now curled tightly.
The scratching of tin against pavement.
Cold against my bones.
Warmth from your hands.
It vanishes, and you fill the void.
You fill me, until I'm whole.
The sound of birds, wings flapping, branches bending.
That sound is all I hear.

Beneath those words he sketched the fae quickly, documenting this moment to be kept forever.
